December 14 - Buried for centuries near Stonehenge, this peculiar 4,00-year-old artifact was revealed as part of a new research project initiated by archeologists of the University of Leeds.

Although there are assumptions that they might have found a similar object to those found scattered around the circle in March 2013, the material of this object indicates an even older origin.

Those previous objects all support the theory that Stonehenge was used for shaman rituals. As the archeologist believe, “The interment rituals and the method used to construct this object suggest this is a tool of an ancient shaman, one of the earliest known from Stonehenge”. Many civilizations throughout history held shamans in high esteem, since they were believed to tape the powers of both the human and the spiritual world, as communities' healers, magicians or vessels for messages from beyond.

When asked about the object, the archeologists stated that "it seemed extraordinary, almost suspicious, that this ancient artifact wasn't discovered during previous excavations". Previous found artifacts during recent years that haven't been covered by other media outlets suggest that there is still a lot of information that has been kept quiet for unknown reasons.
